Many parents walk a shaky childcare tightrope. The coronavirus has already pushed many parents off of their precarious line with many more parents sure to follow.
The time to create a backup childcare plan is now. Don’t wait to have a conversation with your parents about whether they are comfortable watching your kids. Don’t wait to find out that your spouse assumed you’d watch the kids because you’re now working from home. Have the difficult conversations you need to have for your new balancing act to succeed.
